Failed films, out of work on TV, extremely stereotyped in same old smile/dance routine even in ads! Give me a break! Who dances even in a water purifier ad?!

She has herself proven lack of versatility and lack of reinvention. Who will believe this lady had once done something other than smile and dance in films like Prahaar and Mrityudand?

Even critically her films haven't mattered unlike say, Juhi's My Brother Nikhil, Teen Deewarein etc.

Only old days hype and incessant nostalgia left. No way the biggest star actress of all time. That title belongs to either Hema or Sri. Not this lady.

Yes, Madhuri is done! She looks more aged and jaded than Juhi, Raveena, and other heroines of the 90s!

May be. But there was no bigger female super star than her and won't be in the near future. No one ever achieved the peak that Madhuri enjoyed.

On Madhuri, I am amused she is so stymied that she can't do anything different even in ads! Dancing in Maggi ad! Dancing in Aquaguard ad! 🤣

Atleast Juhi was delightful and versatile in Kurkure ads. Onky comparable to Aamir Khan and his different avatars in Coke and Tata Sky ads.

Success wise Hema has had most success for any heroine. Box office, politics, business, media and other ventures. She has it all. Till date she is editor of many women's magazines in Hindi and English. Though it seems hypocritical when she talks of rights and family. But fact is, her endeavours are many, and they are all successful and long running. The only thing she failed at was film direction. Otherwise she was a hit as a TV producer and actress also! She has given successful shows on Doordarshan in late 80s and early 90s. I have vague memories of watching her in Jai Mata Di in which she played Goddess Durga.

MD, even in her prime has played sidekick to Hema in Jamai Raja which was primarily about saas-jamai clash and heroine was just a prop. 😆
