Only in a twisted place like Bollywood and a forum like this one will a lady approaching her 50s, being in show business and wanting to still be active, with a supportive husband and an envious career, but still being very much an outsider will be considered desperate and those indulging in illicit affairs, being responsible for broken homes, running over poor people, indulging in all sorts of nefarious activities, changing religion to get married and doing much worse are hailed as dignified, superstars and what not!

Over & done with...she shouldn't have come back. Her problem was that she thought she could compete with younger heroines but she was sadly mistaken. She may have slimmed down but what about the age that shows on the face ? One can not compete with youth ,that's a fact & Madhri needed to understand that which she didn't . Wearing cleavage showing dresses looked vulgar on her but what can one do if they live in a bubble land.

Madhu Tai worshiping on JDJ and her fans used to annoy me, but I'm feeling bad for her after the Maggie fiasco and ouster from JDJ. Itni bhi buri nahin hai.. she deserves better than Kirron/K-Jo.

Madhuri worshiping JDJ can get on anyone's nerves...but then it was the call of the producers to do so. I dont get why blame her?

this question seems inappropriate according to timeline...
like for me she was done even before 2000...

JDJ was last 'BUZZ' or 'STAYING IN NEWS' thing for her... unless she left it herself for some 'CHALLENGING COMEBACK MOVIE'...

she never was a great actress to begin with..she was always "madhuri" in all her roles, not the characters

but definitely someone blessed with great screen presence, the ability to look good with all her co-actors and a very powerful dancer

and the current generation doesnt idolize "any particular" actress..unlike 90s where she ruled the roost, becoz the youth was crazy about just watching madhuri and her dhak dhak moves, regardless the movie script..

we are probably enjoying the best phase of BW where its all about quality content - both for the makers and the viewers

Personal life is an excuse.

Stardom and career are measured on basis of success.

Not on basis of family life.

Rajesh Khanna, Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar, AB Sr etc all have messed up personal lives but are the biggest stars.

Home wrecker, affairs etc are lame excuse to cover up failures of own favourite.

Neither do online "essays" or trending prove one matters. Fate of MD shows, films and other ventures prove she is over now.
