No wonder she was being defensive in a recent interview saying people shouldn't criticize her for doing and rejecting certain films. I saw this coming. A lot of her fans did. Kareena is not interested in carrying a film on her shoulders, especially after the Heroine debacle. Her many flops have given her a phobia of doing any role where the co star isnt a big name so she cant be blamed for the flop.

It could be salman opted out, balki told kareena which hero was being considered and she didnt want to do it...because no other khan/ or big name wanted to do it, and she got scared of a Heroine repeat. If you notice, she does not ever mention Heroine, its something she wants to forget inspite of it being touted as her hopefully National award winning role. Kareena is done with acting roles.

She probably has another flowerpot role in a big banner or an item song again instead which will be announced in the weeks to come.

Actually they are loyal. Too loyal. Even after the mistakes of the past of couple of years, Kareena fans (me included) keep holding out hope that one day she will learn from her mistakes. I mean after the disaster of Gori Tere Pyar Mein, fans were pissed, wrote open letters, hounded Pompy and her staff for answers regarding her movie choices, and what ended up happening?

Shes still did a useless role in Singham 2, another random song in Akshay's movie (I can't even remember the name anymore), did another useless item song because Karan's production house "is like a second home", and signed for a role BB, a movie that seems to have 95% of the focus on Salman and the little girl.

The only ray of hope here is her supporting role in UP and her movie with that Balki and that gross Arjun. Sad that it's come to this.

She knows all of her fans' anger are just full of empty threats. Watch, she will do a decent job in BB and maybe a good job in UP and fans will love her again and will stand by as she does another Mary item song and a five minute role in Ram Lakhan or something like that.

She knows she can basically get away with it because her fans are too forgiving and she takes full advantage of it to make the most selfish decisions out of pure laziness and/or stupidity. Her brazen attitude was entertaining before but when she acts that way with her fans while they hope for the best for her is just disappointing.

I think she's doing RS movie for sure that's why she couldn't commit 100% to this. Oh well, at least she still has Balki and UP and there was news of something else...cheer up Kareena fans, she might have soemthing up her sleeve she hasn't said anything about yet. Be positive!
