The movie that get head start and gr8 WOM.. the other movie will struggle get screens.. coz in 2nd week.. Distros and theatrewas r already in profits with that first movie. Why wud the reduce the screen for a movie thats going strong?

But if the first movie nose dives Monday onwards, then the next one has HUGE advantage to come on 25th.

Its catch 20-20... no backing off. The real battle will be now which movie will get how many screens. And then WOM..

I like it. In all festive seasons, there must be big clashes. For how long these khans monopoly will be tolerated?

Clash is inevitable, which ever movie is released later would be looser. IF BM is released earlier, and is ringing cash register. No theater, production house will take it down making way for a competition. Theaters go for a sure shot hit, than a possibly a hit. On the contrary when outmd released srk in order to attract public to his movie kept offer of with 2 tickets 1 ticket free. That effected pretty bad, pulling large family weekend and bulk ticket purchasing audience away from new release and media did rest by giving negetive publicity. Deepika and srk both have seen what ever happened and they know once movie releases nothing will be in there hands anymore. There is two options release on same day or keep 3 weeks gap between two releases. And third option would be salman talking srk out of the clash.

BM has huge advantage in Mumbai- maharshtra and some extent Gujarat territory.. the biggest for BW. Also North ppl like king- warrior- war battle types of movies.

Dilwale has serious battle on hand.
