Why cant SRK release 'Dilwale' on 25th Dec instead of 18th - Page 5

If SRK moves his movie, then it would be taken as his first step down from the 'Baadshahat' of Bollywood. And SLB's ego won't let him move. Jeet to audience ki hogi 😛

Uhhh..That would NOT be awesome. Whichever movie comes on the 25th has more to gain. Not only the screens will be reduced for the movie coming on the 18th but the audience's attention would also shift to the new release. I hope SRK gets some sense and move Dilwale to 25th.

No, now its a ego clash.. and even for aam Janta.. it must in national daily entertainment section as well.

but they will milk this 'clash' stuff for as long as possible, then in the end one will move

I think SRK would have weighed the pros and cons. I don't think he's so delusional that he would have picked his date just on basis of hope that SLB will move. For a film he's supposedly making only for records he gave up record bragging rights and picked 18th. So I dunno, but he would have thought something through.

Clash is inevitable, which ever movie is released later would be looser. IF BM is released earlier, and is ringing cash register. No theater, production house will take it down making way for a competition. Theaters go for a sure shot hit, than a possibly a hit. It dosnt make sense for them to take down movies when it is selling like hot cakes. Same happened during chennai express, the production house/ theaters dint back down when ouatmd released. On the contrary when outmd released srk in order to attract public to his movie kept offer of with 2 tickets 1 ticket free. That effected pretty bad, pulling large family weekend and bulk ticket purchasing audience away from new release and media did rest by giving negetive publicity. Deepika and srk both have seen what ever happened and they know once movie releases nothing will be in there hands anymore. There is two options release on same day or keep 3 weeks gap between two releases. And third option would be salman talking srk out of the clash.
