Big B is indeed one of the most professional Bollywood stars. How else do you explain his response when quizzed about Jr B's film atPiku DVD launch event...
Amitabh Bachchan recently shut down the media when they quizzed him about son Abhishek Bachchan's film All Is Well. In fact, Bollywood's megastar also took on questions about fall out with Deepika Padukone and working with her again. Here read on to find out what Amitabh Bachchan spoke about at yesterday's event...
For those of you who have mussed theDeepika-Bachchan controversy, the actress had forgotten to invite her Paa from Piku for her film's success bash. During the teaser launch of Bachchan's upcoming film Wazir last month, he was asked about Deepika's apology for not inviting him for the success party of Piku and the actor had said, "Jo beet gayi so baat gayi" (let bygones be bygones).
Yesterday again when he was asked whether he will work with Deepika in the future, the 72-year-old actor, who played her on-screen father in Piku, said - "Why not?"
Piku, directed by Shoojit Sircar, also featured Irrfan Khan and Moushmi Chatterjee. Released on May 8, the movie was a box-office hit. "We had a great experience while working on this film. We worked like a family," Shoojit said at the DVD launch of the film tonight. On Deepika's absence at the DVD launch, Shoojit said, "She is busy shooting outside the country."
Meanwhile, when Bachchan was asked to comment on his son Abhishek's upcoming filmAll Is Well, he shot back saying, "Let's talk aboutPiku."
Clearly, Sr Bachchan did not want his film's director or producers to feel that he was using this platform to promote his son it seems.
