1st Runner-up Effect?

From CE till HNY, SRK fans had problem with each and every celeb: Aamir, Salman, HR, Akki, Ranbir, and other newbies were bashed by SRK stans.

Since Kick made 200 cr + and became last year's 1st runner-up, Salman fans are doing the same.

Shouldn't the champion Aamir's fans be doing all that? Why do the runner-up's fans do that instead?
