ACTION TIME FOR IMRAN?

The actor has been approached to play the parallel lead in John Abraham's Force 2.
Imran Khan, who has been missing from the screen for almost two years, is all set to return with Nikhil Advani's Katti Batti, featuring Kangana Ranaut, in September. Before he took off for a much-needed month-long holiday to London, the actor told Mirror (June 22) that the only other project he is committed to is Tigmanshu Dhulia's film, earlier titled Milan Talkies, which will take off towards the year end. But now, it is learnt that if all goes well, Imran could also be sharing screen space with John Abraham in the sequel to Force.
"Abhinay Deo is directing Force 2 and he's been in discussions with Imran for a month now. He has approached Imran for a role that is a parallel lead to John," reveals the source close to the development.
The earlier Force, directed by Nishikant Kamat, which opened in September 2011, starred John Abraham and was known for its hardcore action. And this one too will have some mindboggling stunts for both actors. Imran has only done one action film so far, Sanjay Gadhvi's Kidnap in 2008. Force 2 is scheduled to kick off in September. It is eyeing a mid-2016 release.
When contacted, Abhinay confirmed the news, "Yes, we are in talks with Imran Khan for Force 2. I can't reveal much about his role at the moment. I'll be in a better position to comment in a week's time. All I can say is that things are looking optimistic."
