Why do people think ranveer will win FF for BM?

Why do Ranveer fans think he's going to win a filmfare BA for Bajirao Mastani?

As per SLB's track record:

Khamoshi: Manisha & Nana Patekar Overshadowed Salman

HDDCS: Mostly known for it's songs & giggly Slayshwarya

Devdas: Total hamfest by ALL the actors

Black: The ONLY exception & Rani took away most accolades

Guzaarish: Washout commercially & critically. Like Sallu says, Koi kutta bhi nahi gaya dekhne 😆

Ramleela: Deepika & Supriya Pathak completely overshadowed Ranveer

If anything, seems like Priyanka will be the winner here cause SLB only brings out the best in his actresses (not always so even this is in doubt)

Ranveer Singh gets easily overshadowed by his heriones & I keep reading posts like "If BM doesn't release this year only then FF is for so & so actor." Overhyping much?

Because Bajirao Mastani has a huge screentime for actor. Whether it's pc's scene or dp's scene, ranveer will be present. To win best actor these days, 3 conditions have to be fulfilled:
1. either your actress should be bad or mediocre one so that it appears as if the movie survived because of the actor
2. or you should have a long screentime
3. movie must not flop

The notion that Ranveer got overshadowed in Lootera and Ramleela is not true. He got overshadowed because industry ppl didn't praise him and all their focus was on actresses...

Unless you are a starkid, you are not praised enough for your acting. But this will change in course of time. History shows that.

does anybody in this forum believe Deepika's acting was better than Ranveer's in Ram-leela? -- DON'T THINK SO
she got award for ramleela as an aggregate admiration for her movies that year.. her best performance was chennai express

Ranveer was a lot better than Deepika in RL & probably on par with Supriya.

Why not for Triple D? Wasn't everyone eager to get a bhaiya like him watching that movie?

Sonakshi was gud in lootera so as ranveer was best in it.

deepika was better than ranveer ? Seriously? Haha

she didnt picked up that gujrati accent jaisa RS ne pick kia tha.Ranveer was star of ram leela n was better than DP for sure...

He cn win best actor for BM. He is playing the title role-Bajirao..
So yes there r chances.

When did screentime become a criteria for winning FF? You gotta perform, whatever your screentime is. Clashing with Dilwale & having a budget of 150 crores, seems like a sure shot flop.

Sonakshi was praised unanimously for lootera & Ranveer was criticized for his dialogue delivery so there & Deepika winning FF is testimony of her overshadowing ranveer. If Ranveer wins FF it's due to his acting but for deepika it is for her star status?

Starkid argument is quite lame here. Audiences do not decide to watch films seeing if the actor is starkid or outsider. Ranveer gets projects from top rated directors & still the outsider jaap for him?

not really... filmfare awards mostly accordingly to the difficulty of the role. He was good in DDD because he is a good actor.

The most difficult role this year will be the role of Ranveer to portray bajirao Peshwa convincingly. If BM avoids to flop, all siqns point to him winning the award.
