No, its not. Its only the best time if your movies have legs and can sustain (i.e they are real good). PK almost had a 4x opening weekend multiplier. Otherwise look to Eid or Dilwali. Only Aamir so far has been super-successful at X-mas. (Ghajni, TZP, 3I, D3, PK)

Case in point Don 2, Dabang 2(it did well but not to the level it was expected). Eid and Diwali give you bumper opening weekends and then even if the movie is bad; it has a chance of doing well. Not the case with X-mas.

The first week for Dilwale will have no holidays apart from Sunday. If the WOM is bad; Imagine what can happen. HNY WOM was bad too but due its terrific opening day numbers and then also having holidays ahead; it did very well at the BO otherwise...

That why BM has a real shot if it opens at 25th imo. a) It will enjoy a good opening weekend and b) after that it can cause some real damage if the WOM/movie is good.

I agree that though he wants to beat PK's record and desperately too at that. It has been way too obvious.
- Saw Aamir had no release this year.
- Moved his two releases in Fan and Raees ahead.
- Got RS to come up with a story in two months and announced the X-mas date.
- The funny part is that he is of the opinion that those movie made record because it was X-mas. While that is not the case at all.

He is set for another big setback this time too. Hope this time he realizes that it is the quality that matters.

PS: I have no problem with any of this before anyone mentions so. He is fully entitled to do what he wants and how he wants.

2 clashes have happened and that's because others weren't afraid of SRK, so they clashed and one time SRK begged jitendra to stop the clash

Let Aamir clash with the likes of Ajay, no even with Imran Khan then we will talk.
When was the last time Aamir clashed with anyone.
He's very careful for that not to happen...he books almost two years before the release of the his movies.
So, talk when he finally does clash with ANYONE. 😆
