She has definitely clicked for her fashion, has even changed the fashion scene in bollywood, and her photoshoots are fab... but the problem is when someone is given one too many chances in movies jus coz they r a starkid...she isn't the only one, so I'm not gonna single her out. Jus look at Asin and Ileana, hit debuts and a few wrong moves and they're gone..and there r many others like them, more talented than sonam acting wise.
I dont think acknowledging ur relationship in public makes u less dignified...it's the way that u handle it that makes all the difference...hiding or not speaking about ur boyfriend, doesnt mean someone is better than others. Infact most ppl including normal ppl, open up and go public with a relationship only when they are serious about the person. It happens all over the world where media is interested in celebrity couples, some handle it well, while others dont.
Agree with you. And also agree Asin and Ileana are talented actresses but if the directors are not casting them its NOT Sonam's fault. Rakesh Mehra loves Sonam because she reminds him of classic beauty and said that her face suits the roles he has in his movies. When Anand L. Rai wanted to cast Sonam in first Tanu weds Manu Sonam refused and then he offered her Raanjhana because he was looking a face like Sonam who would suit the role.
So people are not coming to Sonam now because of her dad but how she presents herself.
Anil Kapoor didn't asked L'Oreal the biggest cosmetic industry to take Sonam as ambassador, they came to her.
Otherwise where is Esha Deol, Soha Ali Khan...? They are also star kids from both mother and father side but no director ran after them once they were given a chance.
So it's very easy to make Sonam a target when we have nothing to say. Just because you don't like her, doesn't give anyone the right to make excuses of her being a star kid.
