With such less number of hits coming out of bollywood off late, I am sure producers would be happy with an Average as well. Average/Semi-Hits also recover investments and make some profits. As long as people get to make money, their casting RS is justified.

That is the difference between aaj kal ke stars and old ones

The older lot have a very loyal fan base which shows in their box office

Where as you will find many fans of ranveer/ranbir online..they will fight pages over pages for them but won't go watch their movies in cinema unless they are really good

This might be 1 of those low scoring year at BO, but it won't give justification for RS not giving much no. of hits coz he is from 2010. NO, Average/Semi-Hits don't recover that much, if they would have, they would have been in HIT Category.

People say deepika is a pr made star, not true, she has given hits from her first film, om shanti om, and was not really the superstar till cocktail and chennai express, yjhd

ranveer is the pr made star, when did get t written about, since he started hanging around with deepika from ram leela. he was average, ok in his movies band baaja baarat, ricky vs ladies, good as the boy next door, but he sucked in ram leela, complete over acting(slb may be to blame) but really not someone to drool over.

his silly dressing antics are again pr. how does he get noticed next to deepika, who is gorgeous, acting, giving hits, by dressing like an idiot. and acting hyper.

I don't think his debut was average, it was a success that's why he became a star overnight.

And lootera may have flopped but the amount of acclaim it got makes it a success in my eyes!

I think he's done pretty good and will continue to climb

on India forums box office counts so no he is sucky according to them. Whi cares if I love lootera n bb ddd
if a film makes money then it is going well for the star if not den he is bad.
