He definitely is. There was an interview back in his heydays, during RHTDM times. He actually is a very accomplished person beyond cinema. And once he had travelled to Canada for a student exchange programme. The interviewer asked him that since he is a teen and at a place away from parents supervision, did it motivate him to go the bad way. He politely replied that he didnt and he shouldnt because he was representing India and didnt want to leave a bad impression of his country in a foreign country. He also is a God fearing person and strictly follows his parents two rules, that is one not to hurt anyone and another to be humble no.matter where life leads him to. He is crazily in love with his wife and though he admits other girls are sexy, he doesnt flirt. He stays away from both contreversies and limelight. He too has twitter but I hardly see him talking so high about himself. He retweets his fans tweets. Truly one humble and very likeable person. He is good onscreen but I definitely find him better offscreen.

I agree with Hirani that Maddy is a very natural Wonderful Actor the industry have !! I loved him since RHTDM days ❤️, Loved him in 3-idiots as Farhan & ofcourse in TWMR Series as Manu 😳

He is one of the most charming, versatile and talented actor we have...He used to be the first choice of directors like Mani Ratnam etc for the lead roles...He got the best role of the three in Mani's Yuva...And he completely owned it ...

He was a very good TV anchor also. he used to host a music countdown show in Doordarshan. It was many years ago. At least that is how I remember, because I myself was just a kid then.

He had good command on hindi language.
Madhavan is really a big actor in south films.

It is sad that when Aamir khan talks about 3 idiots, he talks as though he is the only famous actor in the movie and rest are unknown/non famous actors.

I don't know how many of u watched Dil vil Pyaar Vyaar . it was a Wonderful very underrated movie . Both Maddy & Jimmy were in it . Maddy played Krish & Jimmy played Hrithik 😳. And They both were so good in their roles .

Though its another story that he uses his supporting roles and does full justice to them. I still remember bang bamg first scene. He stole the show for me despite being a cameo. He did everything in that scene that even hrithik didnt in the whole film. Actors like Maddy, Jimmy, Rajkumar, should be given more roles to shine. They are like the male counterparts to those critically acclaimed actresses who is under rated as well like Nandita, Kangana. Give them any role and they don disappoint.
