Madhvan was talking in this video that when he signed the movie director had already signed another actress and he requested to cast Kangna.But director told him that he has small budget and he alreeady given money to some other actress.But Madhvan insisted to cast Kangna.Even Kangna's Datto charecter was about to be given to another lookalike but after director saw Queen movie he was so impressed that he changed idea and prefered only Kangna.

Nice of Madhavan.

Kangana had been caught in many rubbish films in between. Why would director want to cast her in such a film?

I sometimes feel actors also know better with experience and filmmakers don't exactly have that eye for talent.

There have been many films that turned out to be path breaking and had actors recommended by some other senior actor who saw potential in them.

Good for Kangana otherwise she was slotted as the psychotic girl onscreen.

Im so glad Maddy recommended Kangu. Now I don see anyone else rocking the both roles like Kangana. Love these two chemistry

Konkona Sen was first signed on to play in Tanu Weds Manu (part 1) but Maddy persuaded the director to sign Kangana.

Actually Madhavan was the one who said it first in an interview during TWM promotions. But glad she accepted it. Keep rocking Kangy n Maddy

In first part Konkana sen would have been ok but in the sequel I cant imagine her doing the double roll.Thats too Dattu's charecter

I have already seen it.Maddy is such a sweetheart.Its due to him we got to see Maddy-Kangana together in a film.He had recommended Kangana for Tanu's role after meeting her in her Birthday party where she was in high spirits.😆

I watched this whole interview . Both Maddy & Kangana were too cutee & adorable ❤️ . I am glad Maddy recommended Kangana for TWM as I can't imagine any other actress as Brat Tanu 😳 .. & Ofcourse Maddy as Manu ..Also It was very sweet of Kangana too to let everyone know about it .
