Any actress who kick-started the female-centric films trend?

No single person can take individual credit for the kind of films that are being made today. Everyone has worked equally hard, including me. This useless talk has to stop. Also, we have to understand that not all films with a strong female protagonist are women-centric. Queen, Mary Kom and NH10 were all women-centric films. Tanu Weds Manu Returns isn't. It is about Tanu who is a strong character, and it is also about Manu.

No matter how hard DP tries, she can never keep these people away from speaking crap about her.

Sonam, Katrina, Anushka, Kangana --- everyone is always complaining about DP. Somewhere of course they are all jealous of her success too. DP's PR doesn't helps either .. they are all going all out to make her look like saints.

Kangana took a shot at PC too here. PC is the one who goes around claiming that she started this all women-centric thing with Fashion. Kangana is giving her back saying no one particular person started this.

BTW, Kangana did try the easy route .. all those crappy films with ajay/sanjay where she showed all her assets etc. just didn't work for her. And no Khan or bigger actor wanted to work with her either. So, she took up the good roles/films that were offered to her. So, please don't claim that you didn't even try to take the easy route.

Most people here seem to have no fav celebs of their own but they do seem to have a great hatred for Deepika😆 Which explains that everyone is ready to jump into the bandwagon of any actress who speaks against DP.

Wonder what their stand will be when Kangna takes on their fav😈

Deepika is just getting bitten by her own Karma. She might act like a victim today when everyone is throwing barbs in her direction, but she was also one of them in the past.

Kangna will also get her own dose of medicine very soon when Sonam delivers the biggest hit of the year with PRDP.😆 Sonam without successful films is like an atom bomb, just imagine her potential after PRDP.😆

I don't think Kangna's sleeping around past should be held against her. Almost every actress goes through this in some measure, but not all of them end up winning NA and become the most successful superstars.

I doubt Deepika really considered Kangana competition before Queen became a hit. 😆

I was gonna bash her and say what is she complaining about now? But she was honest and spoke the truth here. She did struggle more than others and she should get credit for that instead of comparing her to commercial actresses like PC and Deepika.

She didn't say doing endorsement is a bad thing. It gives those actresses who do then an advantage because they are constantly,h exposed and in the news because of their endorsements. She's saying her route to success is different and she wants people to acknowledge her for that. I don't see anything wrong with what she said. She's not looking down on other actresses..just saying don't compare me to others who are complete different actors than me. She wants to be different..being different and unique is important. That's her UP and thTs why her success story is so powerful.
