Ranbir - Deepika romance in Rajkumar Hirani's Sanjay Dutt Biopic

Whilst Ranbir Kapoor has already been cast in the male lead role for the Sanjay Dutt biopic helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, a leading lady was yet to be finalised. News now has it that the role may well go to the ever popular Deepika Padukone.
According to sources, Padukone's Piku' (2015) success bash saw Hirani in a deep conversation with her. An insider spoke to Bollywood Life, "Raju has been praising Deepika's performance in Piky for sometime now. Even at the party, he heaped praises on her, and, in fact, they had an animated conversation for over half an hour."
"While Ranbir was confirmed from the start, Raju has been looking for the female lead opposite him. Although everyone is tight-lipped about the biopic, he is believed to be working on the film away from the prying eyes," continued the insider.
It would be something special to see Kapoor and Padukone together once again and no doubt they will recreate magic once again.

Wasn't there an article just two days ago that Sunjay biopic is getting shelved? 😆.

It used to be that if an actor and actress talked they were having an affair. Now no one cares about affairs. If a director and an actor/actress talk they are making a movie together 😆.

Which role she will play ? Richa sharma , madhuri , Riya pillai or manayata ?
