I honestly didn't have a problem with him until Badlapur promotions. But now I think he's entirely 100% fake and someone who will do anything to make it to the top. I get this impression that he wants to be the next SRK or Salman Khan. This is a different world and different era. But to be fair to him, he did make me laugh one time during Badlapur promotions. He said he admires his father because he never repeated the same ideas in his movies 🤣🤣

news about VD turned out to be true fortunately or unfortunately 😆
but I am pretty sure they have added masala to this bcoz even I have read that short story
and he nowhere mentioned going into devdas mode and contemplating suicide or something
all he said that he had a bad break-up, as the said girl's father was against their relationship
and he was heart broken...that's it; he shared this on KWK episode as well..and Humpty sharma
had not even gone on floors at that time so I dont think he made this up just for HSKD promotions 😆
Even during Badlapur promotions he refrained from using the word 'depression'
irresponsibly..all he said that he was shaken up by the realism and isolated himself due to the twisted
character...in his own words he said that he has led a rather stupid life 😆and had a comfortable trgedy free upbringing
and anybody who has watched Badlapur & the making video of this film would know why he was so affected and till
what extent he went for the character some weird really method acting stuff is in the video😆 !!

^^Yeah Swati agree..He cant just keep mum during promotions you need
to promote somehow and need to have some matter to talk about during media interactions (which gets twisted & misinterpreted many a times)...some like to publicize link up stories or use their relationships & trophy GF's to be in news...I am glad he gives no W*f statements..and does rather non-controversia &l to the point promotions..

@IAMLuvbolly- I won't say about the print IV but I guess his 'statement' on his father's films is from a Badlapur PC and if you watch the video you'll know he was actually being sarcastic there 😆 even DD said many a times that Varun often prompts him and mocks him whenever he repeats himself not just 'story'wise but scenewise as well...

U might be right about Shuddhi though coz there are reports that say Salman suggested Varun's name for the project.
