Well, let's see now. In one country he is the top most star where everyone is running to sign him for their projects, so much so that he can point to a project and the makers will drop their current lead and sign him instead.

On the other hand, the other country has an industry known for its fickleness and closed door policy to outsiders. Despite a growing fan base thanks to his dramas on Zindagi, he still couldn't land a dream debut as his Mamu or Papa or Behna wasn't in the industry already, making sure he enters with a bang. Instead, he got a two bit role in a movie all about Sonam Kapoor where he got to play a pretty prop on set.

Despite all this, he made enough waves that now all the big PH are signing him. But does that guarantee success in BW? We know from previous BV's fiasco that the market doesn't even spare the Kapoor scion. So even though there's Fawad Fawad everywhere now, two flops and no one will even remember his name because he has no yesteryear star parent who'll keep reminding everyone of it. He will pretty much pack up and go back home.

So forgive him if he has decided not to piss off his home base yet. He is not being a prude, he is being smart.
