Disagree. All those incidents that some ppl think are the acts that she pulled to gain sympathy to get success or a loved image is rubbish. Many people who watch her films don't have the time to follow her news 24x7 , they've got a life of their own to deal with. Thus it's only her talent , screen presence and success rate is what that pulls crowd to the theatres , watch her films and that's how she has an image amongst majority of ppl (how she is as an actress , her looks etc..) If anything its only the sns crowd that get to follow all the news , gossips about celebs in detail n dissect them.

not gonna lie she's a good actress, and she has the package. BUT,yes, in the media she has played victim, she has played this woman taking a "stand" and then not backing it up later...obviously 20 years down the line, the only thing that will be remembered is that one relationship and maybe some of her films.

and this doesn't go just for her, it's for many other stars.

You're totally right. Deepika positive attitude made me fallen in love with her, but on 8/5/2015, I am started fell in love with her acting skills.

Many times she has played the PR game. But for Piku I was surprised that she didnt do anything...no quotes or PR tamasha. Maybe because she knew her work would speak for herself. This time she DID surpass expectations fair and square thru her work. You cannot take it away from her.

Just noticed. Deepika was getting treatment for depression when she was shooting for Piku, Anu was suffering from anxiety disorder when she was shooting for NH10, Varun was into depression when he was shooting for Badlapur.

oh please, I don't know why people can't credit deepika for being a star. The girl was born a star from her modeling days to the time she debuted in om shanti om so people hated her back then and they'll continue to hate on her because now she is the number one actress. I'm sorry other actresses fans
