Loved it. It's not flawless, but there are few movies that has shown emotions as well as Talaash did. In India at least.

liked it...Talaash was a layered film where each and every scene plays a very important role in lead to the suspense...
It had a very good star cast...
Aamir,Rani,Nawaz and Rajkumar Rao were brilliant..but the surprise was Kareena, before the film had felt that she would be the weak link among such great actors but she held her own...rate this as her best performance...

Some of the scenes that stay:

When Temur's mobile rings after he says he doesn't have one...and the reactions of Aamir,Nawaz and Rao were superb...
The scene where Shikawat imagines how he could have saved his son...
The way Shikawat reacts on seeing his deceased son's friend...
The long drive before Rosy's entry...
The discomfort Rao's char shows amidst an arguing husband and wife in the middle of the road and when Roshni asks him that does he behaves like that with his wife...that scene was superbly enacted...
Shikhawat and Rosy's scenes were the highlight of the film...the one in the hotel room and the other one near seaside...
Kareena looked beautiful in the underwater scene...

Ram Sampath's music was the soul of the film...all the songs were good...the cinematography too was good...

The big flaw was too much hints were given in the second half that made the suspense predictable...

It's certainly not the best thriller...Kahaani was way better than it...

Talaash was a good film...The kind of film that was never done before in BW...

Loved it!
Was a beautifully made film!

Rani was top notch, Nawazuddin brilliant and Aamir quite good!
For me this remains as Kareena's best performance, she's never immersed herself so beautifully in a sensous character like rosy before!

one of the few films i've watched where i wish it didn't end. So much more could have been explored!

It was mahaboring. I would have rather watched CID. Aamir Khan was clueless whole time with no expressions. The so called twist of climax could be guessed long before. Pace was slow. Only remarkable thing was Nawazzudins performance.

Yes YES YES!!!I liked the film very much.
Plus points are performances- Aamir Kareena and Rani all were great.A MUST WATCH for Kareena fans. How beautiful she looked and her performance was equally endearing.👍🏼
Loved how they depicted Mumbai in the film. Very unique and realistic- Technically very strong movie. Huge thumbs up for the cinematographer.
Music by Ram Sampat was another winner for the film--Loved 'Jiya Lage Na' song and also 'Zee le Zara'. Kareena lokked so beautiful in 'Mushkan Jhuti hai' .
Another big big plus point was Nawajuddin Siddique-👍🏼👍🏼 How wonderful actor he is!!! Kahani, GOW and Talashh- back to back three powerfull performances. My God he is something else altogether. Loved his scenes in the film specially the one on the railway station.

I was little disappointed with the climax as I thought it's a psychological thriller but it turned out to be an out and out supernatural story. The last scene gave me goose bumps though. Overall a very good film.

I loved it. Aamir was excellent but it was Kareena who was the scene-stealer. And very rarely do I think that.

I hate self pity 😡😆

Different individuals have different emotional strengths..some want to talk it out where as some get trapped in a shell. Aamir's character was trapped in a shell..of guilt..reason why he became so detached and aloof to his own wife...it wasn't selfish..he was deeply disturbed to live a normal life and looked for isolation as a form of relief

The child's dying scene was heartbreaking ...and the movie had haunting music. Muskan jhooti hai, jeele jara..
