Kareena revealed in a recent interview with a Pakistani magazine, that her character in in Kabir Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' is named Rasika. She plays a Brahmin girl from Lucknow who moves to Chandni Chowk in Delhi, where she meets Salman Khan's character 'Bajrangi' and has a conflict of ideologies with him.
Kareena who revealed that 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' is one of the ''few scripts that excited her in recent times'' is said to have given one of the most sensitive performances of her career in the film. Bebo added that the story is 'deep and intense' and will be Salman's best film till date. She further enlightened that 'relationships hold the key' in the film that essays the relationship between a Brahmin girl, Muslim man and a girl child. The director, Kabir, said that the part 'required someone like Bebo'.
Kareena however is not the only person singing praises for the film. Her co-star, Nawazuddin has said '' you will love Bajrangi Bhaijaan. What a fabulous film. The script is so beautiful that people will go insane after watching it''. Kabir himself has said ''it is one of the most exciting stories'' that he has worked on.
The trailer of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' will be out online on the 21st of May while the poster is expected to be out in the coming week! Kareena recently joined the crew in Kashmir to finish off the last schedule of the film!
