In the beginning KJo and Fawad definitely referred to it as a love triangle. But Sid recently made that comment about the brothers only competing in their writing. Maybe different people are giving different descriptions to throw people off and all of them could be right. My speculations based on tidbits and tweets is that maybe Fawad's feelings are completely unrequited. To me love triangle is something like SOTY whether Shanaya really was confused at one point about her feelings for the two guys.

Ya,I also said the same thing in my previous post that,the film could be a love triangle,but Fawad would have a very less screen time with Alia...

I also remember someone tweeting that alia,fawad and sid are staying at the hotel as they were completing the last few days of shoot. No one from the senior lot was there. It is another sign that they all have scenes with each other.

Yaa,now I can remember, when they went to Coonoor,the whole cast were there beside Alia!Alia joined them later.After two days maybe Rishi Sir n Rajat sir came back!So last few days were just Sid,Alia n Fawad!Maybe u r right...

Why I'm feeling so sure in my head that the story is basically about two writer brothers competing with each other and their family? Alia just plays a cameo as Sid's GF to add some romance and songs to movie. If they shot only one song in 6 days...then that means the first time Alia went there she shot only that song as she was hardly there for 8-9 days first time. Second time she went just for 2 days.

In mumbai when they first began shooting I guess she shot that "Chull" club song with Sid and 1-2 scenes with Fawad that's it and recently just 2 days ,few scenes with Sid in restaurants and here and there.Now one promo song with all 3 is left to be shot and that's it. I doubt Alia has much screen space in this movie except 3 songs and 3-4 scenes.

I would definitely agree with,but my ques is why Alia will do such a small role!Coz kjo has asked her?I don't think so,she's not that naive!But I'm worried coz I think it will turn out to be the next Sabrina or Saajaan!Like the girl is younger brothers gf,but falls in love with the older brother...

That one girl who leaked the look test picture actually said that Alia has a really good role in this movie. It might not be a big role but I think it will bigger than a cameo.

EnaNow, funny you mentioned Sabrina because early on when Fawad said the movie is about two brothers vying for the same girl he specifically said that it was not like Sabrina.

^^ No she leaked K&S' look test first with Sid, Alia, and Fawad. I think she said Alia plays a tomboy in this movie. She disappeared shortly after that leaked picture ended up on Pinkvila so it makes me think that she probably knew things haha.
