Sidharth and Katrina's untitled film to take off by year-end

Sidharth Malhotra will be the first actor amongst Bollywood's upcoming stars to work with Katrina Kaif. At a weekend event, he confirmed that his untitled film opposite Katrina Kaif will be going on floors by the end of this year. Earlier reports have speculated that film will take off in July or in 2016, but Sidharth confirmed shoot begins by end of this year. Co-produced by Excel Entertainment and Dharma Productions, the film is a quirky love story.

Sidharth said, "Yes, I will be working opposite Katrina in a film soon. We will start shooting for the film by the end of the year. Though I am excited about the film, it's very early to talk about it. I can just say that it's a love story and the story is exciting. It's also the first time these two production houses (Excel Entertainment and Dharma Productions) are coming together. It will be exciting, but now we have to wait for it to start as I have a few films lined up before it."

About the film being a love triangle co starring Farhan Akhtar, Sidarth changed the topic when asked about this.

Sidharth has also finished shooting for Brothers. He adds,"I have finished my part and Akshay sir also finished his part today. So we are now looking forward to promote the film. I am really very excited for this film and looking forward to see the trailer soon."

Siddharth will now start shooting for Kapoor & Sons with Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan now.

I am really excited for Sidharth and Katrina's film, the concept sounds very fresh and exciting and the pairing is very interesting so hot.

Also Farhan did clarify on twitter that he is only producing the film and not acting in it. But Sidharth didn't deny or confirm when asked if it is a love triangle so maybe another actor will be casted also, let's see.

The film will go on floors once Katrina completes Phantom, Fitoor and Jagga Jasoos so most properly end of November, Sidharth will be done with the Kapoor and Sons film by then also.
