Priyanka Chopra has completed 12 years in the Hindi film industry. The star recently took to Twitter to express her gratitude to her fans and followers.

She wrote, "Wow! 12 yrs! I came here as a scared lil 17 yr old. I thank u for accepting me and always giving my idiosyncrasies undying support. #Gratitude."

Now this got me thinking... if she was 17 and has completed 12 years, it means that PC is only 29 years old. Ahem.

12 yrs... means she debuted in 2003. She had won Miss India in 2000, to participate in which you should be minimum 18 yrs old. So even if she was just 18 in 2000, how can she be 17 in 2003?? Another curious case of reverse ageing 😆

If she wrote 17 yrs for the age at which she started modelling; then it should be 16 yrs back, not 12 yrs back coz she was 17 , 16 yrs back in 1999.

She was 18 when she was crowned Miss World? Well, makes her 33 then, no?

I wish actresses stood up and represented themselves strongly instead of hiding their true selves. If they're united, they can bridge the age taboo. PC isn't doing any favors to anybody by hiding her age. Embrace it - and set an example.

Also, age isn't a major issue these days. 30 is the new 20, right?

Wiki says she's 32? Has she claimed otherwise?
