Umm tough choice. Both are popular and loved by many people.

I love Kareena more than Aish so I voted for Kareena

Actually, Kareena's list of 'flop movies' is higher than Aishwarya's. And Aishwarya has won as many, if not more, acting awards as Kareena.

Aishwarya has more successful movies if you take her Tamil, Bengali and English films into account. And hardly any of them have her playing a flowerpot role. Whereas maximum of Kareena's successful movies have her playing exactly that.

Anywho, Aishwarya has pan-Indian popularity and is internationally known. Kareena is not very well known in the rural areas of South India, whereas Ash's popularity there is unmatched. And internationally as well, Ash has a clear advantage.

Despite being away from the big screen for 5 years, and despite being 40+, Aishwarya is still in the Top 4. And in 2011, right before taking her maternity break, Aishwarya was in the Top 2, despite being 37 and after 4 years of marriage. Whereas Kareena has not managed to do that.

kareena is a better actor than ashwariya rai any given day, but its ashwariya who gets better offers, price and she is in more demand than kareena kapoor. even today, if bhansali has to pick one, hah...take a guess...ashwariya rai its going to be. a director is looking for a matured popular actress fir a period movie , its going to be ash over kareena.

truth hurts, but kareena does have more flowerpots than ash. no kidding...ash is a bigger star than kareena.

aishwariya is way more popular than kareena, on and off screen, whether its in beauty, dancing, roles, or in overseas. ash it is. her endorsements are huge, yes kareena has far more compared to ash, but it comes down to quality over quantity. and ash wins again.

interesting both katrina and ashwariya are way more popular than kareena.

acting ko goli maar.

last word...kareena lost her popularity due to her arrogance and stinky attitude early in her career. she never really could recover.

ps...i can't stand ashwariya rai and her giggles on screen, but kya karen.

That's one way to look at it.

Or another way is..Kareena's CONSISTENTLY been in Top 3 since 2007.

Whearas you may argue that others go up and down. Last month Aish was not in Top 4, PC was. This month she nudged past.

But Kareena has consistently stayed up there. And she's 34. And married as well.

Anyways, Kareena and Aish have more in common than most actresses do.

I think another member and I were debating one time and we both came to the realization that most actresses who flew to the top did so with the help of momentum, aka, back to back hits.

Katrina, Rani, Deepika, you name em, all these girls had back to back hits that catapulted them to the public eye and top.

Aishwarya and Kareena are the only exceptions to this rule. They never had momentum. They always had that star power and factor despite giving hits

Both have given their share of flops. But for whatever reason, even one measly hit a year is enough to keep them in the top of the game.
