She doesnt even have one movie coming up.. Haven't seen her in anything much lately? What do guys think will she be able to rise again?
She doesn't have a single hit in her list...

I may be the minority here, but I thought she was a strong actress with lots of potential. Rani saw that in her too and brought her into the industry. Sad to see she's kinda faded away too soon. Hope she comes back with something good lined up.

she was only good in ishaqzaade, she was horrible and truly annoying in her other films.

she kept doing same nonsense, I was bored of her after her 3rd film.

And she tried to be glamorous but failed, she just can't pull of western attire. she looks good in those desi salwar kameez she wore in ishaqzaade.

True. I think her problem was with the selection of movies. She selected all the same kind of films and had the same kind of role.

I agree.. HTP, Kill Dil, Dawat E Ish all of them had her in a same role.. even SDR was boring 🤢

She had a lot of hype at the start but all faded petty quickly.

And her acting abilities are overrated as well. Maybe because she plays the same character in all her movies, which isn't a difficult thing to do.

That is her biggest problem. She played the same thing over and over again. It is only for so long that the audience will tolerate such stuff.

The last I saw of her was DEI and Aditya, Anupaman were comfortably better than her. Yes, she got the accent right but what else?? The performance was as bland as they come.

Look at Alia as a comparison.

SOTY, HSKD, Highway, 2 States etc... The balance is their and the roles are quite different from another. The scripts she has chosen bar SOTY were excellent as well.

Parineeti was the total opposite. I mean stuff Kill Dill (crap movie); DEI ( while the movie was different and good, the role she was playing was the exact same as she had done countless times) and so on...

Parineeti is talented...unfortunately her talent hasnt been explored properly. She can bounce back with the right films. But in BW an extended break generally turns suicidal for acting careers and people just move on. Look at Diana Penty. Not sure if she will survive this break. But if she does there will be no looking back for her.
