Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor off to France in May!

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will reportedly be in France in May. As per sources, the two lovebirds will be in Cannes to attend the 68th Cannes Film Festival. As per a tabloid, Kat will be present at Cannes to make her red carpet debut at the film festival, while Jr Kapoor will be there to promote his next release Bombay Velvet. There have been rumours that Anurag Kashyap's film will be screened at the film festival like his earlier films - Gangs of Wasseypur and Ugly.

"If everything goes as planned, Katrina will make an appearance at Cannes along with other ambassadors of the beauty brand, which sponsors the festival. She is waiting for the brand to make an official announcement for the same," said a source.

Last year too, Ranbir Kapoor's ladylove was to walk the Cannes red carpet as the face of the brand that sponsors the event but could not do so since she was busy completing Bang Bang. At this point, the actress has already shot major portions of Anurag Basu's Jaaga Jassos andAbhishek Kapoor's Fitoor due to which she will be free in May.
