Similarly like you mentioned AB Sr, we might scoff at him but there are his blind fans who take him as family man, he has that brand value . They might buy whatever crap he says. It's all perceptions .We all generalize or act like hypocrites most of the time , it's another thing we just like to pretend otherwise.

Right or Wrong are abstract and subjective when it comes to morality specially.

No her love life doesn't make her a woman of substance and progressive, but neither does her love life specifically negates it. That was my original point. I don't understand what her past relationships has to do with the topic at hand. But specifically, any woman who dares to adopt two children on her own in a highly conservative country and gives them family and love gets my respect. Her career might not be going places, and yes she might have some unhealthy habits, but none of that should take away from the content of what she said about equality and educating people.

Credibility matters alot especially for causes . Otherwise people tend to extrapolate all their reactions on the celebrity endorsing it. I am sure a substantial hate or trolling happened because it had DP as it's face.
