Jaya Bachchan is clicked here at Samovar Cafe in Mumbai, enjoying a samosa. Jayaji, who has most recently been in the news for her fight against the 'India's Daughter' documentary, is seen here in a lighter mood.

While Jaya was busy with samosas, hubby Big B had a big day with the trailer launch of his film Piku. The team including Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan launched their trailer in style amidst a lot of fun and fanfare.

I would be by my husband's side if he was having a big day that meant a lot to him ... Especially if I had absolutely nothing important to do on the big day. Well...that's just me, I guess.

Jaya is not a part of that film. So why should she have to be there?

This iconic cafe is going to be closed down. This is why people are visiting it for the last time. Quite possible that Bachchans were also invited there as a part of farewell and only Jaya went to represent them there.

Jaya left her whole career for him, made too many sacrifices for him, stood by him through his worst phase, she doesn't need to be with him all the time. Nor called out for not being there at trailer launch now!

It's really not fair how she is judged now for not being by husband's side!

This cafe is a landmark of sorts in Mumbai hence ita closure is making so much news.

And what a delicious looking samosa it was. I'd choose it over a trailer launch as well. Jayaji stays winning except for that whole political career thing. But aside from that, good decision!
