People from famous families have this habit of discussing their family and famous friends excessively. Even without being asked. Here he's dropped Shammi and Prithviraj Kapoor's names without even being asked about them.

And bragged about his earnings as of 1974!

They can't help but show off their pride, connections, success and wealth.

He stated he loves his dad a lot but he just can't express himself because he has grown up with being scared of him and not opening much in front of him, so their bond is not that close.

I love rishi kapoor. very honest and the best actor in the kapoor khandaan. I preferred him over raj kapoor,and ranbir even with all the hoopla can't get close to the natural talent that his dad has.

I kind of agree.

Rishi Kapoor has a natural charm about him. He has a screen presence that is endearing. As audience, you instantly connect with him as you watch him.

Ranbir is comparatively less endearing. His connect is not effortless.

But at times Rishi Kapoor seemed to be lazy or careless about his work. In Yeh Vaada Raha, you can notice him chewing something during the title song as he runs towards Tina Munim. Such nitty gritties make it seem if actor was merely sleepwalking through the song-dance routine. Ranbir on the other hand, is more polished. He never looks like he's simply going through the routine.

Both Rishi and Neetu have a certain childlike charm in their old films. Ranbir seems kind of serious. I miss that child like enthusiasm in his acts. He is good in serious roles but laboured in comedy and light hearted stuff.
