Call her fake..manipulative or what ever

But it doesn't deny the fact that deepika is so humble despite being at the top

Very rare have I seen a top actress with so much humility and being this grounded..lets face it..success can make you arrogant..look at kangana

Deepika has a certain goodness on her face..her eyes have humility..she seems extremely approachable, grounded and simple despite so much success...her recent interview on depression touched my heart

I doubt any top actress from current generation is this humble..even katrina despite not taking digs, has this snobbish expression on her face most of the times..appears cold...deepika on the other hand is always so warm and sweet

I know we all love to hate her here but i find this quality of hers extremely admirable..

We don't know how shrewd or manipulative one is but a person's way of greeting you goes a long way and deepika clearly has that. Kudos to her!!

Family.

She has a very humble grounded family who are very simple people in their own right. Prakash Padukone is almost "notoriously" simple & humble. Yes she's very manipulative, yes she's an opportunist but her humility is not fake. Which is why she's loved by many in BW. Esp people behind the scenes.

Family is also what kept huge female superstars like Madhuri & Ash very grounded & real. They were never treated like "huge stars" at home & even did household work. They all are essentially, simple, middle class women & loved in the industry because most are egoistic , hypocritical divas with oodles of money & near soul-less personalities.

I think it comes from her upbringing n especially her dad being so famous n still such a gentleman
N both her parents look really simple n sweet
she is very very grounded.

Totally agree that family plays an important role in Deepika's upbringing..
I'm totally impressed with her mother (from depression interview)
She is soo strong and talks with lot of confidence
She seems to have lot of belief in herself and in her family

He didn't want her to be in the movie industry & doesn't like the compromises she has had to make. But he's very proud of her , at the same time. No. He's anything but arrogant.
