Shuddhi saga continues!

Karan Johar's much ambitious magnum opus- Shhuddhi has been in news for the numerous delays that the film has faced ever since the inception. After Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor walked out of the film, Karan signed on Salman Khan to play the lead in his dream project. Jacqueline Fernandez's name was floating around as the leading lady but it seems the actress is not doing the film at all.

At a recent event, Jackie clarified, rubbishing all rumours, "I am not doingShhuddhi. I have not even been approached for the film". There were numerous speculations about Deepika Padukone being roped in for Shhuddhi but later, there were reports of Jackie being roped in to fit into the role that was earlier offered to Kareena.

But with Jackie confirming that she is not playing the lead, we wonder who Karan is going to sign for Shhuddhi? Meanwhile, the film's been on the back-burner due to another delay in the shoot. The film that was supposed to go on floors sometime soon this year might have to postpone its first schedule, owing to Salman's prior commitments to Kabir Khan and Sooraj Barjatya.

The actor who is now busy wrapping up Bajrangi Bhaijaan will soon start promoting the film while he completes Sooraj's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, that is due for a Diwali release this year. It will be only after Bajrangi that Salman might get a window to start Karan's film. But as of now, everything's definitely falling out of place for Shhudhhi!
