Dippy comes up with trailer idea

Deepika Padukone is getting more involved with the creative process of her films. The actress, who will next be seen in and as Piku, directed by Shoojit Sircar is going all out to ensure that the slice of life entertainer sends the right message across. The teaser of the film will hit the screens today, and we hear that the unique concept for the same came from Dips. For the first time ever, the star-cast of the film " Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan , along with Deepika " will be seen indulging in an argument over the film's trailer. Reveals a source, "It was during one of the creative meetings where the cast was brainstorming that Deepika suggested that they do the same in the promo. Everyone present agreed it was a great idea for the cast to discuss whether the trailer is up to the mark or not, in the getup of their characters. After everyone gave the idea a thumbs up, director Shoojit developed it further." Shoojit confirms,"Yes, Deepika happened to bounce the idea off us and we loved it immediately because it was unlike other conventional teasers. The team further worked on the idea and we are very excited to see the way the audience reacts to it".
