Dark Places has already been filmed with Therone and Chloe Grace Moretz. For some reason they had a hard time finding distributors for the film. Hopefully after Gone Girl's huge success this won't be an issue anymore.

When I first heard it was Charlize as Libby I couldn't get passed the height. Libby was supposed to be 4'9 and Charlize is close to 6 feet.

@ILB: I AM OBSESSED with her!!!! After reading GG, I devoured her other other books in flat 3 days. They hook you in & you can't close them. She's also really clever, sharp & seems like such wholesome fun. She's an incredible writer. I am so happy she was laid off her job.
