i think the movie will do quite good as there is no other good movie to compete with it...

may be btw 30 to 45 crs

Sometimes, the two don't go together.

Difficult to say. I guess I want the film to make 25cr+ with audience praise for Varun 😃 But if I have to choose between the two - for this type of movie, I'll go with the latter. It's important to show your versatility early in your career so directors and production houses and even audience can see that you are capable to perform these kind of roles so I hope Varun succeeds in this. He's got an entertainer in the form of ABCD2 coming up. I hope for this affair, the two go hand in hand because both are important 😆

If I were a Varun fan in this case I would hope for critical acclaim. With the all the hype the movie has received unless it makes boatload of money, which is highly unlikely, people won't be satisfied. There always seems be a disagreement over a hit, semi hit or average. Varun is young and will have many more opportunities to give blockbusters. He's already doing two massy formula films with SRK and his brother. But a critical acclaim will be proof of his versatility, and he can bank on that for a few years regardless of how bad the movie does at the box office.

Since I'm not a fan, and trying to answer your original question, I think the movie will do decent enough. The A certificate will put a damper in things, as will cricket to extent in my opinion.

While both are important for this film i'm really hoping for some strong critical acclaim...he's already had enough commercial success to sustain him and yes the critics have also been kind in the past...but the kind of transformation he's gone through for this film warrants some appreciation so fingers crossed!!
