The Messenger vs ROY: Ticket prices higher, Advance booking better & more shows for godman film
Tickets of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's MSG - The Messenger' will cost cine-goers more than the price of the other release this weekend, the Ranbir Kapoor - Arjun Rampal - Jacqueline Fernandes starrer Roy.
In fact, at some centres, tickets will cost nearly two times more than Roy. At CineMAX: Versova (Mumbai), a ticket for the 10:15PM show will set you back by Rs 550, which is costlier than the ticket price of Aamir Khan's Christmas release PK'. For the same timing at the same theatre, a ticket of Roy will only cost Rs 300.

Quite surprisingly, MSG - The Messenger' has also been allotted 20% more shows than Roy in Mumbai, even though the runtime of the film is 3 hours 17 mins! Also, advance booking of the godman's film is way better than the Arjun Rampal starrer, a few shows have been sold out in advance, 3 days before the film's release.
