Ranbir has given manly & phenomenal performance in Roy - Arjun Rampal

February 9, 2015

Arjun Rampal who is gearing up for the release of ROY co starring Jacqueline Fernandez feels that Ranbir Kapoor has grown as an actor over the years and he has evolved from Ranbir the Boy to Ranbir the Man in ROY.
The songs of ROY have already topped almost all the music charts and have generated good buzz for the film. The actors are going all out to promote the film and everyone associated with the film are pretty excited to see the audience response. Arjun Rampal who returns to the screen after a long time when asked about his experience working with Ranbir Kapoor said-
"He is a phenomenal actor. I can assure you that nobody has seen Ranbir in the way you will see him in Roy. He has played this character with so much maturity. He has matured from Ranbir the boy to Ranbir the man. I have worked with him in Rajneeti and I feel his approach to acting is just amazing. He is thorough professional and tries to approach every film in a different way. He still has a bad sense of humor."
The actor also revealed that the script of ROY came to him 3 and a half years ago post which Vikramjit (the director) reworked on the script many times to make it a perfect edge of the seat thriller. The actor who is proud of the directors work said-
"As I have seen the final result, I can proudly say has done a splendid job as a debutant director. When he first came with the script it was like a novel idea but the script wasn't up to the mark and it needed to be developed further. A lot of time went into preparing the film but it's turned out really well."
ROY starring Arjun Rampal, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ranbir Kapoor is all set to release on 13th February 2015.

As much as I like Ranbir, he seems to be sleepwalking through his role, of whatever I seen in the promos/ trailers.

A man is supposed to give a manly performance unless he is playing a cross gender role. What does this statement mean?
