After Deepika Padukone, it's Priyanka Chopra and Vidya Balan all praise for Kangana Ranaut's spectacular performance in 'Queen'

As another year at the movies recently commenced, 2014 has arguably been a year of the ladies and leading the way was the industry's dark horse, National awardwinner and amongst IMDB's highest scorers, Kangana Ranaut!

Her position as being the most versatile actress in the industry was cemented when one of Bollywood's leading ladiesDeepika Padukone dedicated her recent Award for Best Actor (Female) - Popular Choice to Kangana Ranaut.

If that wasn't all, two other powerhouse performers Priyanka Chopra & Vidya Balan too were all praise for Kangana Ranaut. At a recent public event, Vidya Balan said, "Ever sinceQueen released I've heard so much about it, but I got the chance to watch it only recently in a flight on my way to LA. Kangana is unbelievable in the film .I always had liking for Kangana. I remember watching Fashion and I think she was incredible in the film. I think she is extremely bold and brave person and that is why she is like that in her films too. It is interesting to see the kind of work she is doing".

Priyanka Chopra too commended Kangana for her stand on award shows - Said Priyanka Chopra, "I appreciate Kangana for taking a stand. Many of us in the industry think about it but only a few can take a stand of not attending award functions. Also my favourite film this year was Queen apart from Mary Kom".

OK seriously, what is she saying? She put on her designer gowns, prettied herself up and attended everything, and accepted every award, up until Filmfare. The one she incidentally lost. Now she thinks everyone should take a stand?!! Against what? Her not winning everything for Mary Kom? Was she thinking about taking a stand when accepting the awards she won?

Kangana didn't attend anything this year. And she wasn't even taking a stand. Not a blatant one anyway. She said she found them too long. And when Rekha took her award to her she was very gracious about it. But Priyanka sounds like she just wants to make a statement about the awards for the sake of making a statement. She's trying to whine professionally.

She felt she was snubbed during Barfi as well. I guess that's what she means along with losing out on filmfare this year.

Lol PC sound a bit bitter about losing FF. She won rest of the awards and talks about taking a "stand" after losing FF. 😆

what stand ?? at the end of the day kangana got her FF award thru rekha...is It called taking stand ??then surely my meaning of taking stand is different ..

But she even attended the pre Filmfare party with all the other nominees and her Mary had a little lamb outfit. I would have believed her comments were genuine if she hadn't attended anything this year. But that's not the case. Let's not even go over all the comments she's made the past couple of months about awards and their fairness etc. She's just all over the place.

I understand being disappointed, especially when you feel you've given stellar performance. But being gracious goes a long way in a win and lose situation. If she gets nominated next year for BM is she going to take a stand? I hope so because it seems like Filmfare juries have good memories.

MUMBAI: Actress Kangna Ranaut, who bagged the Best Actor (Female) honour for "Queen" at the 60th Britannia Filmfare Awards ceremony, says the 'acknowledgment' confirmed the fact that she made her mark. Kangna was present at an event in Mumbai Sunday when she was asked to share her emotions on winning the award. "It feels great. I think that event I'm here for also talks about making your mark and last night (at the Filmfare Awards), I think in a way the kind of respect and acknowledgment that my film got, also literally meant making your mark." Apart for Kangana, Shahid Kapoor also won the Filmfare award for Best Actor (Male) for his performance in the film "Haider". The Filmfare Awards night took place at Yash Raj Films (YRF) Studios here Jan 31.

Exactly. I was actually gonna write that I can't take her seriously with this quote. Because she attended all the awards this year except the one she couldn't win- filmfare. So basically she's making no sense.
