I'm not a blind fan but I still don't see what's wrong in this step. I love jumma ki rat step with jacki and they are just doing it with dp. Dp did similar act wtih srk in om shanti om. I don't know how this is disrespectful act. I think this should be fun. The only thing I found disrespectful was that AIB act

Rhetorical question, if by chance there was a wardrobe malfunction cos of the dance step which she has happily consented to, and the journos click the photos and paste it on their website, will she be mad at only the journos or the actors who lifted her dress.😆

...it's alright to assault, tease and harass Deepika if you have her consent.

I actually mentioned this in a separate thread last night that if you take the picture at face value without context it just looks like 4 main carrying the train of her dress. In fact in the one picture where all of them are holding her train with their teeth they all look like puppies grabbing their human's train. But most people know this move as part of a song from Kick where Salman Khan lefts up a girl's skirt with his teeth and she's unaware.

I don't know if your question was rhetorical or not, but here is the video of the song.

Square peg doesn't fit into a circle hole, but push it in regardless seems to be the way in all 3 threads dedicated to this topic.

Like many others, hated it in the song and hate it here too and it looks as though she's trying to appease Salman/KJo for rejecting their films, she could have given Filmfare a miss this year.

So in order for the ignorant to pass off their regressive opinion as acceptable we have the following as rebuttals so far:

1. Pseudo-feminism jaap

2. 'Pay me to objectify me' rant
ad nauseam

Don't like anything about this picture - everything and everyone involved is disgusting in the photo.
Having said that any of the celebs are not to be taken seriously , i just think that they are promoting themselves majority of the time - just the ways are different, their world is totally different to us .

That picture is disturbing on so many levels. Hated it when Salman did it and hate it even more here with more men involved.

Truth is these actresses look stupid speaking on the objectification of women when they're involved in an industry that encourages it so much on a daily basis. Whether they'd like to accept it or not, their films do have an influence on the audience.
