I still don't understand the controversy over this incident. I supported her for the cleavage issue and i still believe she did the right thing. In FF they were just doing the steps of Salman's hit song,they didn't touch her in an inappropriate manner,they didn't showed the unnecessary part of her body by lifting her gown. Is this controversy over her presence in a TOI award show ?so what should she do,avoid the leading paper and its programs just because she showed her disagreement in a cleavage issue .
We call her hypocrite while we literally worship an actor who killed people just because he have money and arrogance to drive the car carelessly,we worship an abuser who manhandled woman,we watch the films of an actor who is in jail for violating the law.,but we bash an actress who live according to her wish without violating the law .

I have supported Deepika ...when she talked about depression too...so now if that turns out to be a PR tactic as well...should I be ashamed of my self because I supported a cause ...something that millions all over the world suffer from?? Her message wasn't just about consent, it was also about female objectification, and she took a strong stand against it. Thing is, it was pure hypocrisy, and more of an exercise in self-aggrandisement.

I supported her as well during TOI but she's contradicted herself by giving consent in doing that. I mean how can anyone be okay with that? I find it cheap and disgusting. It's giving more encouragement🤢

I haven't seen anyone saying anything bad about the real issues. When celebs use serious issues to further their own agenda like film promotion they are causing more harm for the cause. Jab ji kiya protest kiya, jab ji kiya surrender kiya. People have a right to call her out on that

Message is right but the messenger can be totally fake. Like the dhongi baba is wrong in PK but religion is not.
