During his last furlough, Dutt reportedly met his Agneepath director and it is said he even got a story narration from him. Malhotra has previously given Dutt the famous Kancha Cheena role in the revenge drama. Karan Johar, who is producing Shuddhi, is looking forward to the union.
We hear, the director has an equally challenging role for him, this time around too. The source adds, "Shuddhi is about three characters -the hero (Salman), the heroine (has to be a young one) and the villain (Sanjay)."
Dutt and Malhotra are excited about teaming up again, especially since their first outing, Agneepath, still dominates public memory.
