Bollywood heroine Kareena Kapoor, who is known for a million dollar skin and luminous hair, has been a poster girl for many young at hearts since the time she has stepped into filmdom. What keeps her glowing year after year has been keeping many beauty connoisseurs play the guessing game. Recently, in an interview to a famous women's magazine, Kareena shared her choicest beauty secrets. Not many people know that for flawless skin and shiny hair, Kareena swears by her miracle drug i.e. drinking 4-6 bottles of natural spring water every day. That is her one shot remedy to keep dehydrated skin at bay. She gives credit to her mother and grandmother for the lustrous skin and hair she flaunts. Kareena told the magazine that apart from her British ancestry (her mom is half British), she follows a daily routine of applying almond oil to her hair and skin. Additionally, a great remedy passed on to her by the women of her family is applying a face concoction of almond oil mixed with curd. Apart from the simple beauty fundas she practices, Kareena is also one of those rare actresses who believe in the concept of ageing gracefully. Slathering expensive anti-ageing creams and undergoing fancy medical procedures to erase facial lines is neither she nor her sister Karisma live by. "I am the biggest advocate of ageing gracefully. I love the lines on face as they describe the life you have lived. And grey hair makes you look elegant. I am happy to grow old naturally. Botox is just not for me," said Kareena to the magazine.
