Obvioulsy. Salman is her only saving grace now.

And she worked in the so-called heroine-centric films (none of which have been memorable) because she just wasn't offered any movies with the biggies of BW until PRDP. She may be dumb but not enough to reject movies with the Khans over stupid chick flicks. Also, she was a flowerpot in BMB (from what I've heard...have not seen the film) but she still gets credit for the 100 crore+ film. The point being is that she ain't an exception...she DOES play flowerpots. So saying that instead of playing flowerpot roles, she does women-centric films isn't entirely accurate. It's not due to choice. It is due to the simple fact that no one had offered her any big movies up until now. But lets see if PRDP does her any good.

The reason why she's doing these chick flicks is because those are the movies she gets.

It's been pretty much proven that an actress doesn't have to be good at acting (lol), but she also shouldn't look like a child onscreen either. And Sonam, more than anything else, acts quite childlike. A Salman film might help her by bringing her to the masses, but she has to perform better in her films if she ever thinks the main heroes would want to work with her. Or even that the audience wants to see her.

she may not even look gud with him.. instead let them audition and choose a talented girl with a non filmy background
