Dharma Productions remake of Subhash Ghai's cult blockbuster Ram Lakhan' to be helmed by Rohit Shetty has always in news for right and wrong news cum speculations.

Previously Ranbir Kapoor was highly rumored to play the role of Lakhan and speculations of Ajay Devgn as Ram was making it rounds.

Now a fresh twist to the casting story is emerging in the industry.. people are also talking about Abhishek Bachchan and Ranveer Singh playing Ram Lakhan respectively in the remake.

Dharma, Rohit and people associated with the project are mum and keeping everything under wraps but the industry people are divided on their list of the lead of Ram Lakhan remake..

And another source from India who lives in Mumbai told me she heard that possibly Varun Dhawan is in the talks. SAB gad bad hai. I don't believe anyone anymore.

I think initially he was but it''s looking pretty confirmed that he's doing the srk rohit shetty film...doubt he'd do both...plus i read an interview where he said he's not doing it

I knew it was Abhishek i posted in a thread made for Jacqueline getting confirmed for Dimple's character. i dont want abhishek with her I want her to play madhuri's character with Ranveer. I think Kjo and rohit finalled Abhishek and Ranveer for Ram lakhan. varun is doing rohit's film with Srk.

Varun doing Rohit's film with Srk thats another film. Ranveer i am sure is lakhan and Abhishek ram. Jacqueline confirmed signing the film for Dimple kapadia character that would be opposite the character of Ram.

Age difference wise Abhishek and Ranveer is perfect.It's possible Ram's character will have less impact in the movie and they will focus more on lakkhan like the original.

Jacqueline will suit Maduri's character.

I hope Kjo changes Jacqueline to Madhuri's character the character dimple played was not all that important in the original film. Jacqueline and Ranveer should be paired together for Abhishek they should take someone else.

Abhishek and Ranveer would be really interesting. But Ranbir and Ranveer would have been MASSIVE. Abhishek doesn't really pull in audiences, but I guess we will have to see how this turns out.
