I'm sure this is just a rumor. If, and that is a huge IF, there is any truth to this it might be due to Farzi and Udta Punjab's dates overlapping. Also for Kareena's sake I hope this is not true because you know the articles will start that she ousted him from the movie lol.

Or as someone suggested above he might be replacing Ayushman's character.
