sona is a gud actress but has no script sense, she likes doing flower pot roles. arjun though is just one yr younger to her but has less flops, but maybe they both can have some career changing hits,

Sonakshi's kept doing the same thing over and over again and the audience got bored.

I don't know about Arjun though. He did have 2 States that did well. Finding Fanny was an off-beat film...I don't think he's officially done yet, but he doesn't have any new movies signed these days

Arjun is not the guy who will be around in bollywood after 5 years... he is too big and he cannot control his body weight... that will hamper his career...
Sonakshi i think will survive, she has done a movie like lootera so it's not about being a mediocre actress, she just needs a good movie

Problem is, that when she did Lootera which was totally different from her other roles, it flopped as well. So she went to back to movies like Action Jackson and now Tevar, which have also flopped.

She is, "na idhar ki, na udhar ki." Sadly, nowhere to go.

Arjun got a two hits with 2 States and Gunday, but in both films he was overshadowed by Alia and Ranveer who acted better than him. On top of that, Gunday might have done well at the BO, but was really a terrible movie to be honest.

I think it's too soon to write either of them off. They can still survive and have a career in Bollywood, even a good one. But they are on thin ice and need to rethink their strategy, especially Arjun.

There will always be filmmakers in need of actresses for frivolous flower pot roles. As such I think Sonakshi will always have offers. At least for the next few years until time catches up with her and she starts looking too old for the younger, or even too old for the flower pot roles. At the end of the day Bollywood is a shallow place.

But actors or heroes are expected to look a certain way, have a certain body type and carry the film on their shoulders. Arjun is failing in all 3 areas now. Parineeti walked away with all the praise for Ishaqzada and people have to be reminded that he was in 2 States. And Gunday was basically Ranveer's movie. He should work on his physique but also on his acting skills. Maybe even a new PR team. I feel like all of Tevar's promotions was overshadowed with Arjun/Sonakshi link up rumors only for all of it to be shot down a week before the movie with the "break up" news. Not that I think that's why the movie flopped.

Sonakshi went from being the hit queen to flop queen really fast. She also went from being my most favourite to being the bitch I can't stand, real fast.

I still think she would be the best candidate for Madhubala's character in the Kishore Kumar bio. Madhubala was a big star and a respected person in India and ofcourse a good actress should to justice to her. I am not saying Sonakshi is the only candidate or the best actress but seeing her doing a period (taking place in the 50s, too) and a different movie like Lootera that very well showed her talent, I think she may be able to do justice to Madhubala's character.
