I am now working on an initiative to create awareness about anxiety and depression, and help people. My team is working with me to formulate a plan, which will be unveiled soon.

Good work👍🏼...as in India even today ...going to a psychologist is looked upon as something related to pagalpan...its a kind of taboo...people don't want to get treated...or they want to keep it a secret...hope this initiative from a leading celebrity and her coming out in the open helps others to open up...its just another illness...u are not crazy...

.I remember her saying hny schd took a toll on her phys health n as well. She lost a lot of weight.
I completely agree with bi. Ppl see it as a taboo n do label.it adas pagalpan

Hope this initiative gives them hope to be open about the issue

Stop following what your rivals say in every other videos/print interview. It would help. Watching Kareena whining to Rohit Shetty.. and then taking dig at her while chatting with your best friend. Not healthy.

Even if she is ...who cares...let us look at the bigger picture...if it helps even one person..it is worth it...and considering the lives that these celebrities lead...it won't be surprising if most of them suffer from some form of anxiety...only some acknowledge it publicly though...

Deepika Padukone almost faints after working for 30 hours at a stretch

Deepika Padukone is known for her professional conduct and all her directors and producers have always had good things to say about her. She is extremely punctual and pushes herself to her utmost capacity.

Last week itself, the actress worked for 30 hours straight. After shooting for Happy New Year for 16 odd hours, Deepika rushed for her dance performance at an awards function. Not only did she perform, she also did a thorough rehearsal with the team before that.

However, the young actress had a sudden bout of ill health over the weekend (Saturday). Deepika was shooting till wee hours on Friday and almost fainted. She woke up with running high temperature on Saturday and felt extremely weak. A doctor was rushed home who advised her strict bed rest.

Deepika who is a workoholic would usually skip his advice, take medication and head straight to the studio but this time around, she was physically drained.

She had a hectic day ahead with a magazine shoot and brand commitment to keep. However she felt very weak and hence had no option but to stay home and rest.

Deepika's spokesperson confirms, "Deepika's health has taken a toll. The doctor has strictly advised her complete rest for couple of days."

I think 2013 was overwhelming for her..and she didnt know where she was headed.

Probably got many offers she had to refuse,which angered people..

I feel that there was something about PRDP she had reservations about, ..or she didnt have dates and was upset she lost out on the film..🤔

I feel that was a big factor.It was almost sure she was doing the film..Salman never spoke about DP again😔.

Looking at Deepika, I would have never thought she would be suffering from depression. Explains the loss of weight and all. Glad that she is doing ok now. And kudos to her for taking the initiative to spark an awareness about anxiety and depression.

And seriously? Just because her contemporary was suffering from depression Deepika isn't allowed to? I had no idea that two individuals who are human beings before they are actresses can't suffer from the same disorder without being labeled as a copycat. *Scoffs* Sure shows the mentality of some people. And trying to get sympathy from Ranbir? Now that's a stretch.
