I was never approached for Hera Pheri 3: Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar is all excited about his upcoming movie 'Baby'. At a press conference for the movie, Akshay spoke about his thriller film directed by Neeraj Pandey. He said that 'Baby' is extremely interesting and you will be glued to your seat, especially the last 20 minutes.

When asked about 'Hera Pheri 3' which was launched yesterday with John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar wished the team all the best. However, he added that he was never approached for this film, unlike Paresh Rawal and Suneil Shetty, who reprise their roles in this third installment of the series. "I was never offered Hera Pheri 3..they never approached me," said the 'Baby' star.

Akshay also spoke about the working pattern in Bollywood. When asked why A-listers don't work with each other frequently Akshay said, "There is no unity in Bollywood unlike in South industry..I don't know the reason behind that."

He also touched upon the topic of PK being similar to his movie OMG. He said, "I have seen PK and I don't think OMG and PK are similar. The theme is probably the same but the treatment, plot and everything else is different."

Baby stars Akshay Kumar, Rana Daggubati, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa Taapsee Pannu, Mikaal Zulfiqar and Madhurima Tuli. The film is scheduled for a January 23 release.
