Oh absolutely - modern marriages are hardly the conventional unions of times past. But she and Nikhil seem to be on a break. I almost never see her in a public event with the Nanda family - whether business or family affairs. It is odd to say the least.
The last public event in which they were together was in October 2013. She hasn't been on the Delhi social scene for ages. This is turning into a Karisma v2 story - which is so ironic - Karisma is Nikhil's cousin and was to be married to Shweta's brother!! Bollywood needs to get less 6 degrees of separation.
