Your mom is directing a film with other actors. Does that make you jealous?

Why should it make me jealous? I am just so excited that she is directing a film again. This film (Love Affair) has no role suitable for me. I wouldn't like to be in it just for the heck of it. In our family, it doesn't work that way. I still haven't worked with my father's production house.

I didn't know about this Mani Ratnam project either. I am really curious as to why she turned it down. Was it supposed to be a Hindi film or Tamil?

She's very determined and extracts extreme reactions from the audience - which is what's needed to have a long run in Bollywood. She makes people react which is very good. Also she has the ability to look good with many of her co-stars. I've seen some of her interviews, and she tends to zone out, which I can relate to because I space out also and get called out all the time for it. She may not be the most eloquent, but when she speaks she somehow makes sense.

She has had a great 2014, without any unnecessary drama or controversy! 😆She let her work talk and I think she shall continue to do that given her line up of films.

If PC had said she wanted awards people would have called her desperate but hey Aloo baby is the forums current flavour so she gets the pass

It depends on the overall and long term attitude, and tone of the statement. PC said that she doesn't trust awards, if either her or people she mentioned don't win then something is off and some cryptic statement about politics of award distribution. Alia didn't make any remarks about the award system. If anything she showed a subtle hint of humbleness by saying she doesn't know if she'll win. Alia comes across as very excited and appreciative of everything she's gotten. PC comes across as very disillusioned and somewhat entitled.
